Because no single phone tells the whole story
After every wedding or graduation, the same line comes up: “Does anyone have photos from the party?” Laqta started from exactly that moment, and designs an easier way to collect guests' shots while respecting the host's decision about what gets shared.
It started with a question asked after every event
“Who has the photos?” Anyone who has organized a wedding or a graduation knows that question. Laqta's goal is simple: give guests one way to send their shots, and give the organizer one place to collect them, away from the noise of group chats.
Arabic from the very first screen
Laqta is designed in Arabic, right to left, with particular care for weddings and celebrations in Iraq. Its language is clear for the rest of the region too, because the question about event photos comes up in every Arab household. This English version is here for everyone else who celebrates with us.
Share the memories on your terms
Making it easy to send photos doesn't mean showing them automatically. Laqta keeps receiving what guests capture separate from the decision to share a curated album, and leaves that decision to the event manager.
