A wedding guide
Guests' shots start with a single scan
A small QR code on the table can lead to photos the couple has not seen yet. Scan, open the event link, share the shot. For that to work, the code needs a visible spot and a line that tells guests why to scan it.
Put the code where guests actually pause
Place the QR code where guests stop for a few seconds, not in a busy walkway. Table cards, the welcome area, the event screen and the thank-you card all work well, and you can send the same image to your guests digitally after the wedding.
- A small card on every table.
- A clear sign near the entrance or the guest book.
- A slide on the event screen between moments.
- A digital message the day after.
Make scanning effortless
Use strong contrast and white space around the code, and don't print it tiny or over a busy background. Test it with different phones, from the distance guests will actually stand, before sending the design to print.
Print the link under the code as a backup, especially if the lighting is dim or the camera is far from the card.
The line next to the code makes all the difference
Write a direct invitation such as: “Got a great shot? Scan the code and send it to the couple.” Make it clear that sharing sends files to the event manager, and that appearing in a later album depends on their approval.
Test the whole journey before the wedding
Scan the code from the printed copy, open the link on mobile data rather than your home Wi-Fi, and upload a test file. This catches link, print or connection problems before your guests arrive.
